The jury in Spain for the 2024 edition of Wiki Loves Monuments is composed of the following people:

  • Hovallef: secondary school teacher of Geography and History, currently at an adult education centre in Salamanca. He has been a regular contributor to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons since 2016, mainly uploading images of cities and towns in Castilla y León. He has also contributed to the edition of some articles, article sections and several corrections in Wikipedia. In short, he is an amateur in love with photography and the values that inspire this project.
  • Angela Llop Farré: self-taught photographer, mainly of heritage and landscapes. She has published some 58,000 photos on Flickr, which have sometimes been used to illustrate books. In 2012 she won first prize for Andorra in Wiki Loves Monuments, and in 2014 she won first prize for Catalonia in Wiki Loves Earth. Another of his photographs was the cover of the Wiki Loves Monuments advertisement.
  • Javier Igal: editor of Wikipedia, Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons, to which he has contributed several thousand photos, mainly of the ‘forgotten’ or ‘unknown’. He likes to rummage through photo libraries and digitised archives. For several years he has been the coordinator of a local cultural magazine and sporadically of cultural publications.
  • Consuelo Fernández Diez: Graduate in Economics and Business Studies. Editor of Wikipedia since 2015, she mainly creates articles about women to help reduce the gender gap, associations, museums, etc., and also contributes to Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons. She belongs to Cuarto Propio on Wikipedia and is a member of Wikimedia Spain.
  • Esteban Zarate: teacher from Argentina, amateur photographer and Wikimedia Commons administrator.
